Melissa grew up in Southern California before attending Santa Clara University where she studied psychology and sociology. She later earned a Masters degree in Library & Information Science from San Jose State University. After spending a few years in San Francisco, she moved to Germany and then Switzerland. After 8 years abroad, she and her husband moved to South Lake Tahoe in 2019 to be close to family. Melissa enjoys hiking, climbing and exploring the basin with her husband, dog, and son.
