Jade Husain is an Associate Attorney at Apricity Law, where her practice focuses on litigation across a broad range of matters, including employment disputes, breach of contract, real estate, and probate. She brings a particular passion for employment litigation and a track record in complex, high-stakes cases.
Jade served as a Research Attorney at the Los Angeles Superior Court, including a distinguished assignment in the Writs and Receivers Department under the Honorable James Chalfant. She also interned with the California Department of Justice in the Civil Licensing Section, assisting Deputy Attorneys General in prosecuting professional license matters, including construction-related enforcement actions. In private practice, she has worked as an associate at Nelson Mullins in Lemon Law matters and at Wilshire Law Firm in Los Angeles, where she litigated FEHA claims involving wrongful termination through mediation and arbitration.
Jade’s commitment to access to justice runs deep. She has volunteered at legal aid clinics representing survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and individuals in recovery at Union Rescue Mission on Los Angeles’ Skid Row.
Her path to law began early—working with the Victim Services Division of the Pima County Attorney’s Office in Tucson, Arizona, where she assisted law enforcement in providing crisis counseling to victims of crime, including scenes of domestic violence and homicide. That experience shaped both her career and her commitment to advocacy.
Outside the office, Jade enjoys philosophy, World War II history, and creative writing, including a poetry blog she maintains alongside her two cats and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Why have you chosen to support Vista Rise?
It is central to the mission and purpose of Vista Rise to empower those recovering from domestic violence instead of limiting them. By operating as a collective, Vista Rise recognizes that we can do more together than any of us can do alone, while at the same time, honoring each individual’s personal story. Meeting one another exactly where we are is truly how we create the power which is carried from within the collective.
