Dan is an accountant and has worked as the Fiscal Specialist at Tahoe Transportation District since moving to South Lake Tahoe in 2018. Before moving to Lake Tahoe, he worked at a public accounting firm in Humboldt, CA following a successful internship he started while attending Humboldt State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Dan’s love of Lake Tahoe began when he was a child making day trips with his parents from the East Bay Area in the winter months (his parents have since retired in Lake Tahoe). That love now grows whether that be on the slopes, rock climbing, biking, hiking, playing disc, or perhaps his favorite, taking a stroll through his neighborhood (usually listening to an interesting podcast).
He is passionate about understanding local politics and is committed to helping find mutual understanding and supporting solutions that will move South Lake Tahoe towards becoming a more equitable and sustainable community.
